It was May 18, 1984 when the passion for Jazz led the reckless and visionary Giampiero Rubei to transform a dark and humid place in what ended up being the first Roman Jazz Temple, then Italian and finally a meeting place and international exchange of ideas. In fact, for over thirty years Alexander Platz has been living and renewing itself as a cultural pole and a place where tradition and experimentation combine in blends that are always rich in interest in the transformation of this rich, multifaceted and complex musical language that is Jazz.
